[SQU] Problems with autentification

Hi all!
When i set in squid.conf such lines:

    authenticate_program /usr/local/squid/bin/ncsa_auth
/usr/local/squid/etc/passwd
    authenticate_children 5

    acl passworded proxy_auth REQUIRED
    http_access allow passworded

and do killall -SIGHUP squid, squid begins running of enormous copies of
himself. Whats the problem? I think it must run only 5 copies (if must)...
And 2nd when I comment
