[SQU] Interesting Squid setup is displaying wrong page

I'm sorry if this is a newbie question. I have checked the archives. Now
that I've got my bases covered...
The Environment: Squid is on a P166 w/ 128MB and a 2GB HD it is configured
for a 500MB cache. The drive runs at about 75% capacity. The machine also
does ipchains masquerading and routes all requests directed at port 80 are
redirected to local port 80 where squid resides.

The Problem: Squid works with my current setup.... sort of... periodically
on certain sites ie. rivals.com, weather.com, when the site is accessed, it
overwrites (I guess) a part of the cache and you end up getting rivals.com
in a browser that reads 'www.yahoo.com' on the address bar. This only
happens on a select few sites and not consistently, but when it occurs I
have to kill squid and then 'squid -F' and it works. I first tried just
killing and starting with 'squid' but the problem would stay. So I'm
thinking it's mangling the cache. I have examined rivals.com web request
header (trying to figure it out on my own) and have had no luck. Here's a
snippit...

GET http://rivals.com/ HTTP/1.0

HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Connection: close
Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
Date: Wed, 17 Jan 2001 15:28:01 GMT
X-CacheTTL: 1200
Content-Length: 35110
Content-Type: text/html
Cache-control: private

I don't know if this is related to the problem, but the proxy serves about
1000 masqueraded pc's. But, like I said it works most of the time. If you
need a my squid.conf I'll be glad to offer it. Anyways I've been hair
pulling for some time and your expertise is a last resort.

Please help any way you can,

Sam Washburn
