[SQU] Squid for satellite link question

i have read some article
in http://squid.sourceforge.net
and this one internesting me

but i haven't found yet any source . or homepage (link/url)
that has more detailed information about it.

is anybody knows more about this project ?
i would like to knows because my company using
satellite as primary backbones and this would
help our company much.
