I've just spoken to someone today, who has v2 "HERE_I_AM" packets
working with a v2 router. He plans to implement the basic (same as v1)
features in v2 as soon as possible. He is working on 2.2STABLE5, but if
it gets finished and working, I'll make sure it gets forward ported to
2.4/HEAD.
