I seem to have some slow lookups at first also.
Median Service Times (seconds) 5 min 60 min:
        HTTP Requests (All): 0.00000 0.00000
        Cache Misses: 0.00000 0.94847
        Cache Hits: 0.00000 0.00000
        Near Hits: 0.00000 0.00000
        Not-Modified Replies: 0.00000 0.00000
        DNS Lookups: 6.80420 5.69800
        ICP Queries: 0.00000 0.00000

I am new to squid so I have not familarized myself on all the stats and what they mean.

The Queue:
                       DELAY SINCE
ID SIZE SENDS FIRST SEND LAST SEND
------ ---- ----- ---------- ---------
0x013d 39 1 3.000 3.000

Nameservers:
IP ADDRESS # QUERIES # REPLIES
--------------- --------- ---------
192.168.168.254 320 0
208.62.145.35 317 315
192.168.168.254 59 0
208.62.145.35 54 0

Rcode Matrix:
RCODE ATTEMPT1 ATTEMPT2 ATTEMPT3
    0 306 2 0
    1 0 0 0
    2 3 0 0
    3 3 0 0
    4 0 0 0
    5 0 0 0

any ideas on what i have done wrong ? and how to fix it. ?

THanks
Mark
