Hi,
during a test I ran out of filedescriptors.

The FAQ says I should change OPEN_MAX in /usr/include/linux/limits.h. I did and
compiled squid again (make clean ./configure...).
While starting squid I get now this message.

Apr 22 13:52:13 proxy 2001/04/22 13:52:13| Process ID 12665
Apr 22 13:52:13 proxy squid[12665]: With 1024 file descriptors available
Apr 22 13:52:13 proxy 2001/04/22 13:52:13| With 1024 file descriptors available

cat /proc/sys/fs/file-max say

8192

I'm using.
Kernel 2.4.3 and squid-2.4-200104192300

What's wrong?

Marc
