Re: [squid-users] Proxy Authentication

You have to remember also to set the http_access allow and the acl type
proxy_auth.

These two lines would equate to;

acl password proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow password

Make sure you haven't also got a rule like;

http_access allow all
