(regarding the improved LDAP authenticator available in the current
nightly snapshot releases of Squid)

I havent actually tried, but it should use standard LDAP filter syntax

  -f '&((userPrincipalName=%s)(comment=test))'

See "man ldap_search" for the gory details.. (and there probably is some
good LDAP document somewhere describing it in plain english..)
