I have a serious problem with squid stable1 2.4.
I have installed an set up the squid correctly an started it.
All worked good for a week but then we got strange troubles with it.
Some Url's didn't open correctly. If there was a frame with a navigation
bar the error 404 (not found) occured on the screen.
But why ?
If i turned of the proxy in my ie it worked perfectly.
Then i started to troubleshoot and found a strange entries in all logfiles.
If there was a request to navi.htm or something similar to navi*.* the
logfile showed that the Client wanted to request a file called index4.htm.
What a surprise i thougtht. How can it happen that there's a file
index4.htm requested if the file navi.htm is in the url.
If i type any url with navi.htm error 404 occurs, but the starnge thing is
that the tilte of the error page is welcome to sony and the source code is
exactly the same like the original sony homepage. Very very strange i
thought, and so i stopped the proxy, cleared the cache deleted all logfiles
and started it again.
Now, all worked perfectly for exactly 2 hours, the the same error happend
again. What's wrong with squid ?
The last thing i did is to deny caching .html and .htm files but without
any success.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong ?
Is that a bug or is my squid configured wrong.
I have urlredir and NSCA-Auth running together with squid working ok.
Is there a squid-cache-virus or something else ?
Is the sony homage a synonym for a virus-spreading homepage ?
Many questions not answered yet, but i think somebody can help me.

Thanx and best regards
