[squid-users] Startup Squid

Hi
I have problem with startup squid from rc.local 

---
/usr/localsquid/bin/RunCache &
---
In this case squid isn't start without any logs...
I modify this script:
---
/usr/localsquid/bin/RunCache &
sleep 2
---
In this case squid startup is OK....
(RunCache starts squid, but itself RunCache is exit)
Why ???
