Three options:

a) If cache digests are enabled, then wait for the digest to generate.
Should complete within a hour after startup.

b) If you do not have digests enabled and want then, rebuild Squid with
digest support.

c) If you do not want digest support and are annoyed by this message,
then reconfigure the child caches to use the no-digest-exchange
cache_peer option, or recompile their Squid binaries without digest
support.
