[squid-users] Help: Unsupported Request Method and Protocol

HI All,

I'm trying to run squid as a proxy (2.3STABLE4 on AIX 4.3.3), with a redirector. Basically we have created a private network. Anytime a pc on the private network requests a webpage, they will be redirected by squid the redirect script.

The page we're trying to redirect to is on a secure webserver, ie, https://www.whatever.com.

HOwever, when doing this we get the error:

"Unsupported Request Method and Protocol"

"Squid does not support all request methods for all access protocols. For example, you can not POST a Gopher request".

Any ideas?
