[squid-users] CARP and PAC

I have a question about Cache Array Routing Protocol (CARP):

Is there a newer specification of CARP than the internet draft which
expired in August 1998 - available at: http://icp.ircache.net/carp.txt ?

Does anyone know about Proxy Auto Config (PAC) which implements CARP?
At least the hashing function - same as Squid does.

I know about the "super proxy script" which is similar to CARP but has
different hashing function: http://naragw.sharp.co.jp/sps/
I want the PAC to do the same hashing as Squid.
