[squid-users] Squid & Log Analysis

I've been running squid for about two years now and I just recently started
doing log analysis. I've installed and setup Webalizer and it runs beautifully.
However I have some questions about it's output. It list counts for Hits, Files
and Pages and I was wondering what exactly those refer to.

For two days of usage by 50 users I have

Total Hits = 56300
Total Files = 29600
Total Pages = 4670

Thanks to anyone who can help clear away the mist.
