What are your clients expecting to see? If they are hosting on their
clients, add 127.0.0.1 and localhost to the list of addresses not to proxy
for in their browser.

Realistically, I'm not sure why your users would try to connect to localhost
or 127.0.0.1 rather than the proper dns name of the host (even if it's the
same machine). Have you tried the actual dns names to see if they work?
