I think you need a little clarification on what i'm trying to do here:
The proxy will be used in a school/college environment. The reason i need
to ban users after authentication is because some pupils may be not allowed
to access the internet for whatever reason (naughtyness!). I would normally
do this by IP address, however as the users will be using different
terminals around the school, i thought this would be the only valid way.
Also, some user accounts may only need to be disabled for a short time, so
it makes sense to "comment out" their account with ACL's, rather than
delete their account from the system until they're allowed access again.
