[squid-users] DISK vs. MEM clients

Hi,
        I am not clear about the difference between STORE_DISK_CLIENT and
STORE_MEM_CLIENT. Which one is used under what circumstance?

        Are there scenarios where an object would be cached in memory, but
not on disk?
