Anyone ..

After having edited the squid.conf file to include the changes to
accommodate my system. When I go and run squid using the ./squid start
command in the bin directory, I get an error and can't find out why.

Error....

Parsing Config File: Unknown authentication scheme 'ntlm'.

Here is the authentication excerpt from my squid.conf file...

All commented out apart from...

Auth_param ntlm program
/squid_source/squid-head-200106282300/src/auth/ntlm/helpers/NTLMSSP/ntlm_aut
h
Auth_param ntlm childern 5
Auth_param ntlm max_challenge_reuses 0
Auth_param ntlm max_challenge_lifetime 2 minuites

I have only edited the first line and the files exist. So what is wrong with
the rest.
P.S. none of the rest of the Authentication details are un-commented so
these are the only authentication settings

Cheers,
 Andy
