hi guys...:

i have a FreeBSD serve which connects to two networks that are on the same subnet.. it does this by bridging the networks.. i use it to listen to protocols and then setup MRTG stats for them.. so i can know how much of the Internet is used on HTTP, FTP and so on...

one of its interfaces is connected to the client's side.. and the other to the router... there is no NAT or proxying involved.. it's all transparent and bridging... but the other interfaces connecting to the router are running in promiscuous mode...

my question is, how can i setup squid to listen on the router interfaces of this FreeBSD box so it can transparently capture any HTTP requests and then serve them either from cache, or pass the request on to the router..?... so i don't have to go configure all my client's browsers...

regards...AKNIT
