I encountered this problem a while back. Squid 2.3STABLE4 and earlier
don't work on Solaris with ipfilter 3.4 owing to changes in ipfilter
between 3.3 and 3.4. Squid 2.4 is ipfilter v3.4 capable by default, I've
not looked at 2.3STABLE5.

When I asked about the problem I was sent a short patch for squid 2.3,
which I've attached to this message since at a quick glance I don't see it
on the website.
