Hi,

I've recently configure and use the SMB_AUTH module.
It's working fine but as using cleartext password, it keeps asking for
username and password when users attempt to access the Internet.
For sure I want to secure access to Internet and get the username trace in
the logs but I want to avoid my users to be prompt for username and
password. I would prefer the username and password automatically sent by
the IE browser.
I think that an authentification module that use encrypted password has to
be used and as I want to make it work with our NT PDC and BDC's, I'm looking
to use the MSNT authentification module.

I've search for informations about how to install and configure the MSNT
module on my linux server but I can't find any help !!!

How can I make it work ? Do I have to download and compile the MSNT module
?

I'm running Squid v2.2.STABLE5 on a linux Suse 7 server.
Many thanks for your help !

Nicolas
