[squid-users] SQUID_LDAP_AUTH / WIN2k

Hi,

Ok, I am obviously doing something wrong.

I have compiled SQUID 2.4 STABLE1 with the following oprions
--enable-snmp
--enable-delay-pools
--enable-auth-modules="LDAP

I run a Windows 2000 Domain Controller/ Active Directory. Therefor I assume
I can run a squid proxy using LDAP.
My Win2000 server is called server.xyz.com all my users are in the deault
location in the users container.

#define SEARCHBASE "ou=people,dc=nrc.ca"

??

If someone could breifly explain how to configure and test it ?

Is this the right way to test ?

./squid_ldap_auth server <enter>
username password <enter>

Every time i do that i get this..

./squid_ldap_auth server <enter>
username password <enter>
ERR
