Try the following,
disable in the Options of the Acrobat Reader the "Webbrowser Integration" (in German: Web Browser Integration).

Betreff: [squid-users] PDF files are not rendering

Hi,

I am running squid as accelerator. Everything is working fine except .pdf
files are not rendering. When I access pdf files the browser is not
displaying anything. Whereas when I access webserver directly I am able to
view the file without any problem. Is there any config I have to do to view
the pdf file?

Thanks
