Userspace software like Squid cannot crash the kernel. Your kernel has
a bug that happens to be triggered by something Squid is doing.

Look to your kernel and/or for sources of the problem. Try upgrading
the kernel first. If that doesn't fix it, try swapping out the memory
in the machine, and checking to see if the processor fan is functioning
correctly (bad memory and overheating CPU can both cause data corruption
that can cause a kernel panic).

Squid is just an indicator here--not the problem.
