[squid-users] Cisco + Linux-2.4 + Squid 2.4S2 WCCP - cont.

one more informational tidbit about the situation. I seem to be able to get a working setup by doing this:

1. Setup Squid to use WCCP version 4
2. Restart Squid (-k shutdown)
3. Wait until Cisco acquires the squid box and starts redirecting packets
4. Reconfigure Squid to WCCP version 3 and do '-k reconfigure' (NOT restart)

Now Squid seems to be working as "version 3" but Cisco still sees it as version 0.4 and surfing seems to work as it should be... For some reason my Cisco won't redirect packets to version 0.3 Squid, damn..
