[squid-users] Transparent proxy too slo

I've just installed squid 2.4 stable2 as a non transparent proxy.
my squid responds till 250 req/second when I test it with poly-graph
but when I test it in transparent mode (using ipchains), it only answers
till 50 req/second. whats the matter?
