no, that does not work as well (Stopped squid) , MUST be a firewall problem
then...
i have a double firewall, elimated only the first, will try again but with a
tunnel trough the second as well

got some other tips as well, i'll look into it futher....

Well it won't be that then :}.

Does lynx from the server (without a proxy configured) to those sites
work? If it does, we can dig into squid, if it does not, then it's the
box, not squid.
