[squid-users] querying a virus scan proxy

Configuration:

1. Squid 2.3 on a Solaris box set up with no peers at the moment.
    (Will be upgrading to 2.4 soon.)

2. Second Solaris box with Trend VirusWall installed and functional.

Solaris 5.7, both boxes.

Here's how I see the data flow:

  User -> Squid -> VirusWall -> Internet

Would I used the cache_peer setting in squid.conf to point to my
VirusWall server? If so, since I need to cache whatever is
retrieved, my understanding is that I don't want to use the
proxy-only option. Is that right?

Should I use any options?

If I don't user cache_peer, what should I use?

Tnx!
