Hello everybody.

Could someone advice me how to use delay classes in squid.
I'm running squid as a transparent proxy on my firewall and I want to limit
the bandwidth
to 128Kbit(Dual ISDN) on certain time in the evening. The link that we have
is 10Mbit and as I told
before I want to limit the bandwidth to 128Kbit.

The network is :

                10.100.0.0 / 255.255.0.0

and the file types that I want to limit are :

.mp3 .avi .mpg .mpeg .ram .rm .raw .wav .mov .aif .aiff
.au .exe .vqf .tar.gz .gz .tar .rpm .iso .zip .rar .ace

Can I limit ftp transfers?

How can I fix the thing in squid when I have it activated on my firewall as
a transparent proxy
and one of the company in the house work as a Web Designers and they are
always uploading
a new files on some www server's but the new files don't show up when squid
is active?

Any comments help very appreciated.

Cheers, and thanks for your time.

Best regards,
