[squid-users] windowsupdate: caching the downloads?!?

I've got a question:

I'm using windowsupdate in my offices for updating my Windows clients. I've
got 100 clients, and I've got to do it on every PC. So, my question is:

is it possible in some way to make squid cache the downloaded files, thus
accelerating the updating of other PCs???

I'm posing this question because I've noticed that every time I update a PC,
it slowly downloads all the requested components! Why that? Shouldn't
they've been already cached, at least some of them???

Thanx in advance...
