 Hello everybody,

I´m trying to use smb_auth to make authentification in a SMB server.

I´ve installed a Red Hat 7.1 with Squid and Samba server (as a PDC).

My PDC is working finne, I´ve made tests both with Linux (using smbclient)
and a Windows 98 station (with encrypted passwords).

The problem is, the smb_auth does not find the SMB server. I started it with
these options:

smb_auth -W WWS -U 192.168.0.200 -d

and

smb_auth -W WWS -U 127.0.0.1 -d

and

smb_auth -U 192.168.0.200 -d

but the result is allways the same: the program "freezes" and after some
minutes print a "ERR" in the shell.

I didn´t compile the smb_auth because at RedHat distribuition it is located
at /usr/lib/squid already compiled.

Any help is wellcome.

Thanks to all,
