Hi

Have a look at cache_peer, this might help. You may need to stop and start squid as well?

Subject: [squid-users] Help with configuring squid

  Dear squid-user

  Help

I have just bought a Cobalt Qube 3 Pro

I need to set squid so that files are cached on my side of a slow isdn link from a proxy on the other side. The host and domain name of this proxy is 'isdncache.rmplc.co.uk' on port 8080

I have put the line 'cache_host isdncache.rmplc.co.uk parent 8080 3012 in the squid.conf file but it does no work!!

I am going mad, help, please.

  Many thanks

  Richard
