[squid-users] two proxies, one time authentication

Hi everybody.

Consider the following situation:

                      +---> Proxy A --->+
                      | |
External users -------+ +----> internal resources
                      | |
                      +---> Proxy B --->+

Both proxies have caching disabled. I have to enable authentication,
though. How can I make sure that an external user does not get prompted
for a password a second time after he/she already authenticated with the
other proxy? Both proxies are "DNS round-robin"ed and therefore the user
will go through Proxy A one time and maybe through B the next time.

Any pointer/help/idea is very appreciated.

Thanks.

- Michael
