There are copious Howto's around that detail this. Try the
squid-cache.org FAQ, and/or search for transparent proxy on Google.

since they're handy, the squid options are:

 httpd_accel_host virtual
 httpd_accel_port 80
 httpd_accel_with_proxy on
 httpd_accel_uses_host_header on
