One could say so yes.. My squid-users mailbox reached 1000 pending
emails so I thought is was about time to do someting about it ;-). Now
down to about a hundred or so.. will try to not keep up with the list

Then I would not be too worried. aufs wastes some CPU time for more
reliable performance, especially so when under low load.
It may seem like a contradiction to waste resources to gain better
performance, but is not in this case.
