hi guys,

I am running Squid2.5-PRE5 on RedHat 7.1.

I configured squid with the following command :

./configure --enable-auth-modules="NTLM" --enable-ntlm-auth-helpers="NTLMSSP"

after compilation "make all", when i install squid , i am not able to see
ntlm_auth binary under squid/bin or squid/libexec dir.

When i explicitely run "make all" and "make install" from /src/auth/ntlm/helpers/NTLMSSP
then I can see ntlm_auth in /squid/libexec/ dir.

After installation, if run

ntlm_auth -d test/test ( test is my PDC ).

1.

i am getting "BH Helper detected protocol error". What is wrong here ? what am I doing wrong here ?

2. if try to integrate with squid.conf via ( auth_param ntlm <path to auth_ntlm> ), at the time of
starting squid i get error "Parsing Config file: Unknown authentication scheme ntlm" ???

 what is wrong here ?

any hint or help appriciated..

Thanks
Jigar
