hi, guys

I am running Squid 2.5.PRE5 on RedHat 7.1. I successfully configured squid
for NTLM as well as NCSA authentication.
Both of them work well. Now I am trying configure squid for SAMBA
authentication..

I installed smb_auth binary as well as smb_auth.sh in libexec dirctory. my
DOMAIN name is TEST and PDC is TEST-PDC.
user name is "jigar" and password is "test". I also created proxyauth file
with word "allow" under NETLOGON shared folder.
user have has full rights and permission ( instade of only read ) to that
folder.

when i execute ...

./smb_auth -W TEST -d
jigar test

I get

Domain name: TEST
Pass-through authentication: no
Query address options:
Domain controller IP address: 192.168.1.55
Domain controller NETBIOS name: TEST-PDC
Contents of //TEST-PDC/NETLOGON/proxyauth:
ERR

What am I doing wrong here. ??? I tried for a day and thought to put Q on
newgroup.

Help appriciated..

Thanks
Jigar
