[squid-users] ANNOUNCEMENT - First BETA SquidNT 2.5-PRE6 build released

Hi,

I'm pleased to announce you that first BETA release of Squid 2.5-PRE6 for
NT is available on http://www.serassio.it/SquidNT.html

This is a full Squid 2.5 compiled natively on Windows.

New NT related features:

- Multithreaded standard Squid support for external helpers
- New improved socket code
- Native NTLM authenticator
- Native Async I/O (experimental)
- Native ICMP support

Currently on work:

- Documentation
- Native NTLM authenticator
- OpenSSL support

Please don't expect miracles from this build: it's only a beta.

When installing this new code over old releases, you MUST remove and
reinstall the service.
