In fact, I've tried other ftp clients like ws-ftp-le
and ftp explorer, configuring them to use proxy and
passive connections, and none worked, resulting in the
same connection timeout.
AND I can use the command line ftp in the machine
that's running squid (using passive mode), and it
works, so I undertand that's not a firewall problem.
