Thanks, Henrik pal!

I think if I want to change lru to GDSF, I should do the following
steps,
./configure --enable-removal-policies=heap
make
make install
set replacement policy to "heap GDSF" in squid.conf

Am I correct?

I am not very sure whether I should set replacement policy to "heap GDSF" in squid.conf
or I should set replacement policy to "GDSF" in squid.conf?

Best regards,
George Ma
