Hi Henrik,

Need your help on authentication ttl...
Based on my test on IE & NS, i've the following on password prompt:

1. A first browser instance (no other browser is running)
    - IE:prompt NS:prompt
2. Launch another browser instance (click on the icon)
    - IE:prompt NS:no prompt
3. Launch another window (Ctrl-N or File/New)
    - IE:no prompt NS:no prompt

Here are my questions:
1. authenticate_ttl
- when authenicate_ttl has expired and Squid request for password again,
seems that the browser will send the cached password instead of prompting
the user. Is this true?

2. authenticate_ip_ttl & authenticate_ip_ttl_strict on
- when authenticate_ip_ttl has expired, Squid will not bound authentication
with specific IP (deny any request from any IP). Will Squid prompt for the
current user for authentication?

Thanks,
Wei Keong
