[squid-users] Via HTTP Header

Hello everyone,

Basically, I need to recognize on my HTTP Content Generation Server those requests, which were transferred through the Squid Proxy. Additionally, I would like to identify the version of the proxy, the features of configuration, etc. It is supposed to be mentioned someway in Via HTTP header, generated by the proxy. Unfortunately, I've failed to find the rules of generation of Via header in Squid documentation & in on-line archives.

Please, could somebody help me to obtain the mentioned information?
