That book isn't bad overall, but the Squid chapter in the second edition
leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the suggestions in it are simply
wrong (i.e. you'd be much better off with a default installation than
following the directions in the book). The newer version may be better,
I haven't looked at it yet.
