You do NOT need to update your kernel when upgrading Suqid.
But if you upgrade Squid to Squid-2.4 or later you CAN upgrade your
Linux kernel to Linux-2.4 if you like.. Squid-2.2 does not support
the use Linux-2.4 in transparent proxying.
