What's the IOS of the router? WCCP v1 was supported in IOS 11.3, however, lost support for a time upon release of v2. If your IOS is current, v1 and v2 are both supported. If not, please check with Cisco for what is supported with your level of IOS.

I've been using wccp_version 4 setting in squid. When I used '3', I got nothing to happen. With '4', I've been able to get the redirect from the router.

Hi

I have a problem running squid transparent proxy with wccp. Transparent
proxy works fine when I change my gateway to point to the squid machine
so where is nothing wrong there. However when I switch to wccp, I do not
get any packets redirected to the squid box. In my opinion the bug seems
to be related to the ip_gre.c module as when I run netstat -i -v, I get
the gre0 interface counters always 0
