[squid-users] Squid + Web Accelerator

Hi,

We are exploring the possibility of using web accelerator to speed up
internet access, using squid as access control. Our test shows that
squid is able to forward request to the accelerator, which uses http
1.1 for compression, persistance and pipelining.

 | browser | <---> | squid | <---> | accelerator | <---> internet

This setup seems fine, except we notice that certain webpages with
"Refresh" meta tag could not be displayed in IE (http 1.1 & http 1.1
through proxy checked).

We suspect the problem is caused by the http 1.0 & 1.1 protocol.
Anybody can help to explain this behaviour?
