[squid-users] Squid Parent: child process <PID> exited due to signal 6

Hello all,

I'm having trouble with Squid, getting an error in /var/log/messages

Aug 3 00:38:43 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 454 started
Aug 3 00:38:43 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 454 exited due to signal 6
Aug 3 00:38:46 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 457 started
Aug 3 00:38:46 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 457 exited due to signal 6
Aug 3 00:38:49 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 459 started
Aug 3 00:38:49 proxy squid[452]: Squid Parent: child process 459 exited due to signal 6

I've tried squid-2.4.STABLE7-src.tar.gz and squid-2.4.STABLE6-src.tar.gz,
and Slackware 8 (and 8.1). All the time I was getting that error. What
could be the reason for that? I've tried to search in lists arhive,
there were many such messages, but without answers. Help me please!
