Hi Vikas,

You should tell your Browser to ignore Proxy Settings for
local addresses/IPs. That should solve the problem.

Reasons:
For Squid the "localhost" is his own machine and not yours.

Ports which are not in the "Safe_ports" listed in your
squid.conf file will be denied right away. You would have
to add them to use them.
