Try looking at cache.log??? Seems like a logical starting place to see why
Squid is dying.

i have got problem again !!!!!
i setup squid and it's work ! but some times it stops with out any resone
!!!
when i pot "top" order there is no squid any more !
and funny thing is when i put "squid" command or reboot computer it still
doesn't work and i have to delet logs files after it, if i enter "squid"
command it starts working !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some body tell me why ok ????????
