[squid-users] catching error pages?

Hi,

I'd like squid to be able to recognize error pages on sites (ie 500 server
error) and either display a standard page or - even better - hold on to
the cached version if possible... is this possible through configuration
or would it require some err... hacking in the source code???these errors should be visible in the http headers so it's not like squid
has to look through the whole body of the page...
